KOTRA is trying to make a globalization of small and medium enterprises. On February 2, 2010, KOTRA held a provincial tour fair called '2010 global market with KOTRA' which is about international market advance for small and medium enterprises at BEXCO in Pusan. There were more than 300 participants to show their strong passion about advancing in the overseas market.

On January 27, 2010, KOTRA announced that they received a thank you letter from a Korean company in Haiti. The letter was sent by email and is from Yang Hee-chul who is running a sewing factory called Walvis.

KOTRA opened a podcast service of trade case analysis that can be lectured by iPhone and iPod. This podcast service which is an online multimedia content subscription service that can be used by iTunes (online content sale program run by Apple.) Visitors can use it by typing 'KOTRA' as the keyword and there is no charge.

Due to Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Korea and India, the trade has become more active in infrastructure fields such as power generation, subway and oil plants. On January 18, 2010, According to the report that is about present condition and advance plan of India's infrastructure market, KOTRA suggested the advance strategies for Korean company to capture India's infrastructure market.

Brand-new strategies are coming soon. On January 9, 2010, three New Strategies were unveiled to develop China’s market during the meeting in Shanghai, China.

On January 6, 2010, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced that KOTRA and about 70 Korean companies including Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics will participate in International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). CES 2010 is held in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A. from January 7, 2010 to January 10.

On January 4, 2010, KOTRA announced at a report ‘Check it, global market will be changed like this in 2010.' that shows various nations economic plan of 2010.

According to the report, environmental issue will be the hottest subject of world economy in this year when the movement that prepares in environmental problem has spread not only advanced countries such as USA, and Europe, but also developing countries.

On December 28, in a green report, KOTRA introduced 19 green products and 11 countries took a big notice about these eco-friendly products and technologies. KOTRA analyzed that the key to success in green products and were analysis of exact market trend, proper targeting, remarkable technology and thorough localization.
