Kyung Hee Cyber University (www.khcu.ac.kr), a frontrunner among domestic cyber universities, recently held an enrollment fair in the United States. The university has also undertaken an international project of facilitating the KHCU Study Hall abroad.

First off, Kyung Hee Cyber University held its enrollment fair on August 1st in Orange County and on August 2nd in Los Angeles, in the hopes of acquainting Koreans in America with the latest advancements in cyber universities and new opportunities to acquire an academic degree.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare stated that South Korea will have the most aged population in the world by the year 2025. Analysts predict that the number of elderly will reach up to 37.3% by 2050, beating the records of Japan (36.5%), and Italy (34.4%). This means that Korea's older population will be put in the pressure cooker of re-education in order to meet the demands of the global labor market.

On July 5, Seoul Cyber University was selected by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources as one of the best three online universities in the nation, together with Kyung Hee Cyber University and Hanyang Cyber University. The selection, which is considered to be a great feat for an online university that has no campus, was made following a four-month survey of 17 online universities across the nation.
