According to investment banking sources on September 25, Stic Investments was the only bidder in a main bidding to dispose of 180,000 shares (10%) of Innocean by principal underwriter Goldman Sachs.

SEOUL, Korea - July 30, 2010 - Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced revenues of 37.89 trillion Korean won on a consolidated basis for the second quarter ended June 30, 2010, a 17 percent increase year-on-year. For the quarter, the company posted net income of 4.28 trillion won.
Consolidated operating profit for the quarter was a record 5.01 trillion won, an 88 percent increase year-on-year. The figure tops the previous high of 4.41 trillion won in the first quarter of 2010.

SEOUL, KOREA - The preliminary bidding for Dongbu HiTek, a system semiconductor foundry, will be held on June 18. It remains to be seen whether the deal considered the last important piece of the Dongbu Group restructuring will go smoothly as planned. According to Korea Development Bank on June 5, principal underwriter Nomura Securities would hold a preliminary bidding for Dongbu HiTek. About three to five strategic investors and financial investors have shown interest in participating in the bidding.
