SK Innovation announced on Jan. 19 that it recently appointed Carol Browner, a U.S. expert on climate change and environmental protection, as an advisor to respond to global expansion of its battery business.
Carol Browner is known as a global expert in environmental policy, serving as director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Bill Clinton administration and as director of the White House's energy and climate change policy office under the Barack Obama administration.

He explained, "The SK battery business continues to invest heavily in the U.S., creating a lot of jobs, and in particular, it is the right company to make this investment an important opportunity for U.S. climate change and environmental protection efforts.
