Kim Hee-jin, CEO of uLikeKorea Co. Inc., announced on Feb. 26 that its wellness product, "LivePatch," will be launched and tested in key markets such as the US, Brazil, and Japan in preparation for market entry.
Kim stated, “More people are paying attention to wellness products due to COVID-19. LivePatch is an easy to use patch device that can be comfortably attached to your body. It measures various biometric data including temperature, pulse, activity level, oxygen saturation level (SpO2) and the unique aspect of the service is that it is provided by domestic smart healthcare company’s R&D. We plan to export and test our product in the US, Brazil and Japan covering over 5,000 – 10,000 people in the first half of year.”
“LivePatch” is a wellness solution that can be used for self-assessment of one’s health through its mobile App using LoRaWAN, Sub-GHz etc. Through the portable gateway, it can send and receive data 100 meters up to 200 meters. It can also be used to cover multiple users (by hospitals, schools, office, etc.) where people are in an enclosed area.
Through the trial projects in the US, Brazil and Japan, uLikeKorea plans to strengthen its offering to these key digital health markets.
