CJ OliveNetworks is going to establish Smart Factory and Smart HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) at a manufacturing plant in Korea Yakult.
Korea Yakult is a food and beverage company that produces lactobacillus fermentation oil and health functional foods at three factories in Cheonan, Nonsan, and Pyeongtaek and sells products through 510 sales networks nationwide.
Based on its experience in food manufacturing business, CJ OliveNetworks is planning to integrate MES (Manufacturing Execution System) of FactoryONE, its own smart factory solution, and FactoryONE HACCP to implement process automation, smart HACCP and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) at the same time.
CJ OliveNetworks digitizes the functions of all processes from material management to production, quality, and facilities at Korea Yakult manufacturing plant in Korea.
It also provides functions such as automatic record management of critical control points (CCP), computerization of daily records, notice of departure from limit standards, and prevent forgery.
Data from all processes are automatically collected through sensors and IoT, and the material management barcode system enables real-time inventory management from raw material warehousing to product release and tracking the history of raw materials used in the product.
Korea Yakult can integrate data management in three factories through smart factory and smart HACCP establishment, and can expect improvement in quality, accident prevention, reduction of management costs, reduction of decision time, and productivity improvement.
CJ OliveNetworks is planning to build a foundation for big data analysis by installing two-way interface modules in solutions and applying real-time databases, and to upgrade solutions that apply new DT technologies such as AI and big data.
