Com2uS announced on June 16 that it begins recruiting participants for "Lost Centuria World Showdown (World Showdown)", the first global event competition of "Summoners War: Lost Centuria (Lost Centuria)."
"Lost Centuria" is a game in which monsters form a real-time battle in the Summoners War. Even before its launch, it confirmed the possibility of developing into an e-sports through "World 100 Invitational," an event competition involving 100 famous influencers from around the world.
Com2us plans to show more global game fans the fun of playing and watching "Lost Centuria" before promoting e-sports game in the future.
The "World Showdown" competition was held from June 14 to July 1. Based on the results of the World Tournament from June 24 to July 1, the top eight applicants will be selected as finalists. The finals, which will be held on August 8, will be held online to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The "World Showdown" competition will be held with a total prize of $20,000 (about 25 million won), including $10,000 (about 12 million won) in prize money. In addition, all participating users will be given the summon skill book.
"Lost Centuria is a game that has already proven its potential as an e-sports game with both brain fights and the fun of combat action through counter systems," said Com2uS. "Starting with this first global event competition, we will develop it into a global e-sports that game fans around the world can enjoy it like a festival."
