"2010 International Youth Football Championship," which was initiated in 2005 to enhance the relations between European youth in Korea and Korean orphans, celebrates its fourth edition this year.
In 2008 and 2009 editions, not only European youth in Korea, but also those from the U.S. and Japan have taken part. This year, 9 teams (7 international schools in Korea, 1 local school and 1 orphanage) will compete against each other and have the opportunity to strengthen friendship and foment sportsmanship and teamwork by interacting together by using sport.
In addition, it will be a perfect occasion to bridge societal gaps among participating foreign and local students and orphans.
