The opening ceremony of Korea Electronics Grand Fair 2010 was held at KINTEX on October 12th, and the trend of new electronics products and the technology can be all viewed at a glance.
Today makes it the 41st anniversary of the ceremony and it is known for the largest electronics show in the country. KINTEX is bustling with 900 companies from 12 different countries.
Before the opening ceremony, the Man of Merit award ceremony was bestowed by Cho Seok , Deputy Minister for Industry in the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, You Yeon-chae, Vice Government for Politcal Affairs. Six People, Lee Bong-woo(CEO of MELFAS Inc.), Yoon Kun-sang(executive director of HYNIX Inc.), Lee Il-bong(CEO of Woosim Systems), Lee Yong-geun(factory manager of Medison), Lee Sang-ho(CDOC of DAESUNG), and Kang Hyung-dong (vice president of Joo Sung Engineering) had been awarded with the 5th Electronics-IT Industry Development Man of Merit given by the Minister of Industry and Technology. For next, Park Hoon(head of Y&P Design department), the winner of the 2nd OLED Lighting Design contest, has been given a commendation.
Also, the Vice Government for Political Affairs has bestowed awards to 5 selected companies as Kyeong-Ki do's company of excellence. Winners are Yoo Taesun(team leader, LG Display), Lee Cheolwon(team manager, ADP Engineering), Lee Kwang-ho(team manager, From30), Kim Bum-joong (director, QMC), and Kim Hyun-ki (Director of KEA).
This exhibition is held for four days from October 12 through October 15th, and is divided into four themes: KES, i-SEDEX, International Meeting on Information Display (IMID) and Smart Korea 2010.
