JB Financial Group announced on November 25 that it has built the group's integrated big data platform "Data Hub" that combines AI technology by gathering affiliate data on one platform for the first time among Korean financial groups.
Data Hub is a big data platform that can analyze data by applying the group's internal cloud technology base by convergence of external data such as financial data and public data of JB Financial Group affiliates.
Through the Data Hub, JB Financial Group affiliates analyze customer data scattered across existing branches, customer centers, internet and mobile channels at once. Analysis can be performed up to 56 times faster than before.
Jeonbuk Bank, Kwangju Bank, and JB Woori Capital, which are affiliates of JB Financial Group, plan to provide more sophisticated customer-tailored financial services tailored to the situation by using AI technology on the data collected through the data hub.
Through the Data Hub, affiliates can provide services tailored to customer approaches such as mobile, internet banking, and visiting customers.
The companies also plan to introduce customized products by integrating and analyzing customers' financial information and behavioral patterns.
"Starting with the establishment of a Data Hub, JB Financial Group plans to accelerate the digital transformation by enhancing its data analysis capabilities internally," said Park Jong-chun, CDO of JB Financial Group. "Externally, it plans to further strengthen its competitiveness in the digital financial market."
