Shinhan Bank announced on January 7 that it participated in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 for the first time in the Korean financial sector and demonstrated innovative financial services using AI banking system.
CES, held in Las Vegas, USA, is one of the world's top three home appliances and IT fairs along with Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain and Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) in Berlin, Germany. .
Shinhan Bank organized a booth under the themes of “AI Concierge,” an AI-based business guidance service device, and “Digital Desk,” a real-time video consultation system, installed in the Digilog branch of Seosomun last December.
The company introduced a model of a futuristic branch by implementing the financial service process from customer visits to consultations and transaction completion through the combination of innovative AI technology and various digital devices.
In particular, in preparation for this CES participation, Shinhan Bank taught AI bankers English, Chinese, and Japanese based on Korean data. In the actual demonstration, the AI banker also showed the audience speaking in English.
