Andrew Shearer, National Product Manager of Display Products at Amber Technology has visited many international electronics shows to distribute their quality products to their clients from around world. Now he is in Korea just to visit KES (Korean Electronic Show) 2010 to find great products.
"Korean display products are very competitive in the market. Besides, Samsung and LG, which have already gained in popularity, I found some other interesting products, Nano bezels and 3D and 4D products from many small companies tugged at my heart at KES 2010."
In particular, GPS Blackbox from NEO Information System Co., Ltd. was his favorite. "It is a simple solution, but it has great ideas in it." Mr. Shearer said. NEO's electronic road test system is a complex collection of special technical equipment and construction intended to hold the first module of practical examination by means of an automated monitoring system to estimate the driving skills of candidates.
"Korean electronic products are known as being of great quality at a reasonable price. And now I've seen it for myself", Mr. Shearer said. KES 2010 is a great opportunity to find out about the possibility to distribute some quality products for his clients.
"What's good about the show is all the exhibited products have a high level of quality and they are beyond okay, they are great." He also liked that the show is has given him many opportunities to communicate with a larger number of people. The companies are open to talk to visitors about their products and services and his experience is that they are pretty good at speaking English, too. He said that he is very happy to learn about their exhibited products.
In addition, as "convergence" is a key theme, after a few years, he hopes to see more variations on bring diverse technologies together through KES.
