Shinhan Financial Group announced today that it has joined the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Korea Hall of Fame Platinum Club for the first time as a South Korean financial company in the CDP Climate Change.
The CDP is a global project that is commissioned by global financial investment institutions to request disclosure of information related to climate change issues from major companies around the world and publishes an annual report based on the request.
The CDP, used as an investment guide for global financial institutions, is considered as the most trusted global sustainability evaluation index along with the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and the Global 100.
Shinhan Financial Group was inducted into the CDP Hall of Fame Gold Club for the first time in 2018 and received the highest level of evaluation for three consecutive years after that, and was inducted into the CDP Hall of Fame Platinum Club in 2021.
