Kukkiwon (Chairman, Kabkil Jeon), World Taekwondo Headquarters and Harex InfoTech Inc. (CEO, Kyung-yang Park), AI shared platform provider, announced the alliance for sharing UB Platform (User-Centric Shared Platform) on February 19, 2022, to provide various services and benefits to Taekwondo communities around the world by establishing a global Taekwondo platform.
The two organizations agreed to actively cooperate in the development, distribution, and activation of the global Taekwondo platform. Harex InfoTech will be in charge of developing services and operating the platform stably while the Kukkiwon promotes and distributes the platform services globally.
The Kukkiwon, marking its 50th anniversary this year, leads in promoting Taekwondo and Korea to the world, serving as the centerpiece of about 880,000 Taekwondo studios, 150 million Taekwondo people, and 600 million Taekwondo family members in 209 countries in the world.
The global Taekwondo platform, which will be developed under this agreement, will improve work efficiency on the issuance of Poom∙Dan certificates, give User-Centric AI-based customized education for the Taekwondo instructors and masters, and promote the Kukkiwon institution. On the other hand, for those Taekwondo studio owners, it will invigorate the studios by promoting and creating a local community, and for those Taekwondo trainees and their families, it will provide not only educational information about Taekwondo but also hyper-personalized AI health care service.
