Seoul International 3D Fair was held at the Seoul Trade Exhibition and Convention (SETEC) in Korea from January 13 to 16 for 4 days. James Miller, CEO of Stereo Pictures America, and former Warner Bros. President of Worldwide Theatrical Business Operations attended this event. As the key speaker for the symposium, he talked about creating 3D versions of existing 2D content with the tile of "Quality Counts".
Before the symposium began, he had a Press Conference and said, "The demands for 3D films are surging after the movie, Avatar and Alice in Wonderland. The 3D movie industry will be growing as the 3D technology develops and it will shock you." He didn't forget to mention about the importance of content for industry's development and as well as a good combination of the three kinds of elements such as software, hardware and human resources.
The Seoul International 3D Fair will showcase cutting-edge products in the corporate booth zone. And there are approximately 30 companies including Samsung Electronics, which will show their latest 3D technology. During the show, attendees can participate in a variety of events including a "3D Game Battle," 3D movie screening and quiz show in the "3D Experience Zone."
