Eretec Inc.(www.eretec.com) supplies all kinds of testing equip- ment and facilities, measurement systems and software worldwide. They have developed the EMC measurement chamber, antenna measurement chamber (Cell phone, Radar, Aircraft, Military use, etc.), EMC/Antenna/Transient measurement system and Software, etc. Some products or services are sourced in foreign companies, but most are developed and manufactured by their own company.
Eretec Inc. is the only company which has it's own Research Institute of the companies in the EMC industry. They have conducted studies, not only on EMC systems and equipment, but also in Performance Test System-related to RFID/USN, which will be the focus of development at some time in the future. EMC testing can be costly and time consuming especially when using anechoic chambers and positioning systems.
In R&D there is a requirement to identify quickly suspect compo- nents before EMC testing takes place. By using EMC Scanner RCE 40/25 Series, R&D engineers involved in EMC debugging can identify obvious sources of radiation and take the steps necessary to correct these early in the design process, saving time and reducing cost. The EMC scanner RCE Series from Eretec interfaces a camera mounted above an X-Y Positioning table with E-H field probe, spectrum analyzer and software. The measurement results are presented in 2D or 3D format overlaid on the actual image on the board. This provides a visual representation of UUT(Unit-under-test) that highlights clearly the source of radiation.
