Every woman has a fairy tale dress, and environmentalist women can finally find a gown that works as much for their looks as it does for the environment. In a collaborative effort, University of Sheffield, London College of Fashion, and University of Ulster, managed to produce a gown that actually absorbs gases such as carbon monoxide and other pollutants.

The project that produced this pollutant absorbing dress is referred to as the 'Catalytic Clothing' project. The gown is known as 'Herself', which contains a thin layer of titanium dioxide that is sprayed directly onto the fabric of the dress. When the gown is exposed to the sun, it has the ability to take in pollutants.

Everyone knows that pollution is harmful to our bodies and it seems that the Catalytic Clothing project is taking this into its hands to take back what we have done to our environment and health. Maybe we can combat pollution one piece of clothing at a time.
