This year, KES, the nation's biggest electronic exhibition gets global! Not only Russia, but also the Philippines, Vietnam, Spain and many other foreign countries will participate in KES 2011. As the exhibition becomes global, the exhibits are diversifying as well. From finished products to parts and components and convergence software, the exhibition will be packed with global value chain.

Recently, Korea Electronics Association (KEA) which is the organization of KES visited Jakarta, Indonesia in order to seek cooperation. The Federasi Gabel, the electronics industry association in Indonesia has agreed to send 30 buyers to KES 2011, which will take place in October in Korea.

As the fourth populous nation in the world, Indonesia is considered as one of the potential new IT markets. The consumer market in Indonesia grows and its purchasing power for Korean electronic home appliances increases accordingly. Korean companies might need to pay attention to the fact that the computer market in Indonesia has been expanding enormously.

20 buyers from the Philippines will also come to Korea for KES 2011. For those Philippino buyers, KEA will co-host the 'Korea-Philippines Sales Fair' during KES 2011 in order to promote the trade cooperation between the two nations. The President of SEIPI, Ernesto Santiago said, "Due to the recent Japanese earthquake, many of the member companies are looking towards Korea for semiconductors."

Meanwhile, KEA had a 'China Electronics Fair-Shenzhen' conference to promote KES 2011 on April 9 in Shenzhen. The conference received a lot of attention from the Chinese press. After the evaluation taken by Shenzhen city, it is known that the last year's participating companies in Shenzhen City were very content with KES. For this reason, Shenzhen City decided to join in KES 2011 with 50 booths as Shenzhen Pavilion. Also, the 60-80 people of Shenzhen government and businesses representatives will visit Korea and Sunny Bay (HQEW) retail buyers are planning to participate in KES 2011.
