Korea IT Leaders Forum's operation mode is too exclusive. This Forum was established with a view to offering that IT field's leaders from academic, educational and laboratory cirlces seek industrial development methods on the basis of their old great administrative ability. But, new members are difficult to be adapted for the Forum's atmosphere. Such a fact was confirmed once again in its December "Korea IT Leaders Forum's Night" event held on Dec. 21 at the Marriott Hotel.
Korea IT Leaders Forum is composed of former Minister, former Vice Ministers, IT-related major institutions, chief IT corporation's CEOs. Therefore, a voice to have to open the door to its Forum is high compared with a normal year.
The 2004 Korea Digital Contents Global Financing Conference
The 2004 Korea Digital Contents Global Financing Conference was held on Dec. 14 at the Amiga Hotel, Seoul, Korea under the auspices of KPMG. In its Conference, Joyon Entertainment presented that the company has developed the games based on the Korean culture, and through exportation has introduced the Korean culture and history to the world, hence earning its reputation as an "Online Civilian Diplomat."
The SSA 2004 Global Client Forum, Seoul
The 2004 Global Client Forum, Seoul, was held on Nov. 24, 2004 at the COEX Intercontinental. Mr. Graeme Cooksley, Executive Vice President, said that SSA global's mission is to help customers move their businesses forward faster by delivering the right solution, implementing it quickly, and making it pay.
The Korean Academy of Science and Technology's 10th Anniversary
The Korean Academy of Science and Technology held an event to commemorate the Academy's 10th Anniversary on Nov. 18, 2004 at the Grand Intercontinental. Prof. Jerome I. Friedman of MIT delivered a speech, entitled "Basic Research: The Key to Innovation and Economic Growth. In a joint symposium between Korea and Sweden, entitled 'Creative Science and Engineering Education,' Prof. Uno Lindberg, Stockholm University, has delivered a lecture regarding "Inquiry-based Education in Science and Technology Based on Experimentation, the Swedish version."
The 2004 Techno CEO Award
The 2004 Techno CEO Award went to Vice Chairman & CEO Min Keh-sik of Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd and Chairman Hong Wan-ki of HJC.

The Gyeongsangbuk-do investment seminar was held on Nov. 16, 2004 at the Grand Hyatt.
