The waste management industry has come of age in the midst of the green growth boom. In the field that used to depend on imports, a company named Keo San has been domestically manufacturing a construction waste management system and even pioneered foreign markets. Apart from succeeding in domestic production of the system, the company has opened the path to export their products to Vietnam with the aid of KOTRA. The CEO Park Yonggi explained, "we have undertaken rigorous research on Japanese construction waste management machines before finally succeeding in domestic production. You could say our products are an upgraded version of the Japanese machines." Currently, about 70 percent of the company's sales comes from the export to Vietnam. Keo San's construction waste management machines can well replace the imports, says the company who is also expecting to take a lead in the growing market.

Wide range of construction waste management machines

The construction waste management machines of Keo San include sorting tank and single units like hydraulic cone crusher and jaw crusher. The sorting tank uses 23 tons of water to separate waste mixed with crushed construction material with water. The tank adopted an automatic sludge discharge system to prevent blockage from an overload of mud. Installing this tank adds a score in the qualification evaluation for construction waste management service because of the approved technology and patent. Equipped with a bearing with improved durability and automatic sludge discharge system, this patented product forcefully discharges the water through two outlets, both of which adopted a scraper, that have different structures and automatically release waste after drying the water. Installing the water bearing on the outside improved its life and efficiency, while the spiral screw conveyor enables the sludge to be released continuously or at the pre-set time. The plant machines were designed for different types of plants, such as recycling, soil restoration, and quarries. A recycling plant makes profit by producing high quality aggregates from construction waste and soil restoration plant adds new value to the contaminated soil through cleansing process. Quarry plant is the equipment that crushes aggregates extracted from a quarry and makes them into sand. The company's latest product is called Super Screen that sorts a large volume of waste on a landfill at a high speed - between 60m3 and 100m3 per hour. In comparison to existing models, the machine boasts significantly improved efficiency and can sort a variety of waste such as combustible waste and mud waste. It is also convenient for transportation and installation as the machine is transported by a trailer. With their technologies for recycled aggregate production, Keo San recently obtained a New Technology Certificate and Technology Approval from Ministry of Environment. This was an achievement made in cooperation with the company's affiliates, Jung Woo Construction and Jung Ang Environment. Within 2011, the company plans to establish the Vietnamese corporation Keo San Bina and expand their business to the service sector as swell.

Keosan Machinery Co., Ltd. has been awarded the KOTRA Seal of Excellence since 2009.
