Minnesota, USA -September 27, 2011 - As previously announced, the new 'timeline' on Facebook will be released in the coming weeks; it will feature buttons which will enable its users to keep track of their 'best' and most 'memorable' moments of their lives and filter out the least important information so that they can easily show their lives to others -all on one page. The 'timeline' can even feature events and information about people prior to their Facebook lives.

For the children born in the recent years, their lives are already documented and this may prove to be helpful when they reach the age where they can legally have a Facebook account. Facebook is determined to stay, so it is focusing on changing itself to make it through the future; it does not focus on today, but rather yesterday, yesteryear, and the future to come. Perhaps this will be secret to its success in the future.

In last Thursday's speech Facebook's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, explained his vision with the statement, "Timeline is the story of your life." Undoubtedly Zuckerberg wants users to share information with others about their pasts, but also continue to share it by using its services throughout time. Strategy that may capture a big audience if it is not over-the-edge with details like the current ticker appears to have. Facebook must make good moves during its dramatic transformation; if not, the popularity could plummet.

On another note, privacy controversy over Facebook activities started up again; rumors are circulating that Facebook installs a cookie in its users computer which can track their activities even after they log out of Facebook. Many users changed settings on their browsers to 'delete' and 'forget' their activities which could be deemed useless if Facebook can keep a history of all its users activities and use it years later. In response to this allegation, Facebook promises to fix this cookie issue by Thursday; we will just need to believe in its word.

Users are either fans of the new Facebook or completely against the new experience; however, Facebook claims that it is only a small portion of users who do not like it and complain. Sometimes it takes time for users to adjust to changes and Facebook continuously changes, so users do not have that time to 'readjust.' If you lost your patience with Facebook, continue to hold on because the ultimate transformation may be worth it to you.
