October 13, 2011 — Taiyo Yuden, a global producer of electronic components and modules, introduced various electronic devices developed under the slogan 'Smart Solution and Green Products', targeted at miniaturization and increased capacity, in this year's KES 2011.
One of the notable devices introduced today was the world's first 1206 size 220uF Multilayer Ceramic Capacitator(MLCC).
A Taiyo Yuden official expected the company to move a step closer to producing smaller sized mobile devices and more slenderly designed electronic products, by maintaining intimate ties with other major manufacturers including Samsung, LG, Nokia and Sony.
