SEOUL, KOREA — LG Electronics under their exhibition slogan “3D is the mainstream, Smart is the basis” reveled a 3D total solution; 3D TVs, 3D monitors, 3D projectors, 3D PCs, and 3D smartphones. LG Electronics caught the attention of spectators by providing a 370-inch mega 3D LED screen at the entrance of the exhibit. Also 20 thousand light-weight and eye-friendly cinema 3D glasses were provided. Visitors especially liked that there were also clip-on 3D glasses for the people who needed to wear their own glasses because of their eyesight.
The 72-inch model made it the biggest cinema 3D TV, the 3D combined experience zone where visitors can make their own 3D content and enjoy them, the 3D game zone where a user could enjoy the newest games through cinema 3D on TV, the monitor, and the notebook all with light-weight 3D glasses, contributed to make the LG Electronics booth into one 3D world.
LG Electronics also revealed the world’s first Dual Play function on this year’s KES. The Dual Play function allows two different users to play on different screens using one display. By using two different polarized glasses the two users get to see different images on one screen, meaning that one does not have to divide the screen and enjoy their separate images. They also showcased Optimus LTE, Optimus EX, and OptimusQ2 which will be the main force premium rated smartphones for the second half of this year. Optimus LTE is Korea’s first HD smartphone, which the world’s biggest LTE patent owner LG electronics being its’ launcher. Optimus LTE has 4.5 inch large screen, IPS true HD display (resolution 1280x720), a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, and is using the Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System.
