October 13, 2011-- Mix and create new value. The IT Convergence hall at KES 2011 housed the companies that made their mark on Korean IT industries by integrating other fields into IT industries. Mix and match, or creative ideas, are some of the phrases that we often hear but are hard to practice in actuality. KES 2011 introduces you to over 30 companies who made it - including Vinyl I, Obigo, and MDS Technology.

Vinyl I is busy with promoting the world's first transparent showcase Translook. Having combined interactive function that contains multimedia data within a glass casket, this product allows you to switch back and forth between, for example, 3D video commercials and some other information that you would like to check. The interface is installed within the showcase that can be rotated 360 degrees. "Translook can bring innovation to display - not only for a show window but also in places like museum and exhibition centers," the company's CEO Hong-Rai Cho explained.

Obigo presents an automobile browser system and web platform. Kim Hanchul, the director, revealed that "This product was made with the idea that the web is the basis for all embedded devices such as smartphones, home appliances, and automobiles." This product is optimized for the internet surfing and checking emails. The automobile browser system adopted a jog-type touch interface to maximize user convenience through the optimal graphic settings on the car screen.

Yujin Robot is the leader in Korea's robot cleaner market. This time, the company brought out iCLEbo Smart, a cleaning robot that recognizes its accurate location with the installed navigation camera before precisely calculating the cleaning route and detects the area that has been cleaned and the one that has not been cleaned yet. The product is also differentiated from other similar robot cleaners as it perceives the structure of the room and cleans even the underneath of a bed or table.

MDS Technology introduces an app test automation solution called Test Express. Applicable to multimedia devices, this product efficiently verifies the quality of software by automating the tests that are normally done manually. As a result, this solution radically reduces the costs for product development and inspection. You can test apps for Android, iPhone, and iPad with it

The director Jason Woo explained, "this is an optimal automation solution that can be used for testing all kinds of apps applicable to Android OS as well as iOS." He added that "the product will make an overseas debut as it will be presented at GMW, which will be held next month at KINTEX."

Hurom is exhibiting an outdoor headset for bikes and other leisure sports. Based on the built-in system that can be attached on a helmet, this product adopted microphone that is incorporated into the main body. The headset is compatible with all Bluetooth devices, and also provides smooth intercom communication with other companies' products as well as smartphones.
