The 'V3' suite of anti-virus vaccine products of AhnLab, an integrated security solutions developer, will be distributed in over 50 countries around the world. On February 15, AhnLab announced that it had signed a contract with Sybari Software Inc., a US security solution provider with a distribution network in over 50 countries, to add its V3 scanning engine to Sybari's Antigen product line. Sybari is an e-mail security firm that sells security solutions with vaccine engines added to them for their use in messaging applications it has developed. Sybari's antivirus, antispam and content-filtering solutions are used by leading organizations worldwide to protect their e-mail, instant messaging and document sharing. Sybari delivers its products through a worldwide channel partner network, protecting more than 10 million users across 10,000 organizations. Headquartered in New York, Sybari maintains operations throughout the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. As a result of this partnership, AhnLab expects that it can secure a global sales network and the company's brand image can be enhanced in overseas markets and especially in the Americas and Europe. Kim Chul-soo, vice president of AhnLab said, "Partnership with Sybari will provide opportunities that will allow us to reflect upon ideas in the process of product development by keeping a grasp on a wide swathe of information more easily, from major security issues to the needs of large companies in overseas markets as well as information regarding market trends."
