Seoul (South Korea)--- The Ontario Wireless mission to Korea and Japan was held at the Canadian Embassy on Tuesday the 22nd of November.  This event aimed to introduce Canadian businesses in the field of wireless communication an opportunities to meet potential partners and learn more about the market in East Asia. 

 The forum hosted by Sangmyun Kim the Trade commissioner at the Embassy of Canada, Korea, and his counterpart

Kimihiro Iwao in Japan provided a setting to stimulate communication between these two regions of the world.

 The six companies in attendance offered various high quality services, to a potentially huge market, as there are more mobile subscriptions than people in Korea, with almost half of the population having a smartphone. The group spent two days in Korea and flew to Japan on Wednesday the 23rd.

 ConceptWave provides an end-to-end catalog driven suite of order fulfillment automation software.   They seek to simplify the management of customers, products, and orders, for any product or network.

 C-Com Satellite was in attendance to demonstrate in the power and utility of their iNetVu system, which can automatically search and find satellite with the simple press of a button.  This technology was instrumental to keeping the emergency operations on line and connected in Japan after the recent nuclear, and natural disaster. 

 Fixmo helps organizations manage employee owned devices through the use of a container solution allowing the organization and the employee to have separate areas of the device. 

 Netsweeper was on hand to help organizations and parents better control access to questionable web content. They have a real time maintenance regime that is able to rapidly update their database about questionable and dangerous sites.

 Xtreme Labs is one of the premier mobile strategy and mobile app development firms.  With proven success and a who’s who list of clients and partners, such as Apple and the NBA, they provide custom mobile applications across all handsets and operating systems. They are looking to set up reciprocal relationships with interested firms.

 With over 90 large firms in more than 50 countries RedKnee offers real-time converged billing, customer care, network transaction management and rating & charging software and services for communications providers globally. As cloud based networks become more accessible, popular, and prevalent for telecom providers will look for solutions such as they provide.
