SEOUL, KOREA – Research In Motion (RIM) today announced the launch of the BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 smartphone in Pure White for the Korean market. The stunning new smartphone will be available for pre-order from SK Telecom’s authorized BlackBerry® smartphone retailers starting December 20 ahead of in-store availability, which is expected by the end of December. Starting December 20, the first 2,000 customers to pre-order the Pure White BlackBerry Bold 9900 from SK Telecom will receive a BlackBerry® Authentic White Hard Shell (KRW 30,000 value) with their purchase.
Ticket Monster, a social commerce website, will also be offering a special promotion between December 20 to 22. In addition to a BlackBerry Authentic White Hard Shell, customers who pre-order the Pure White BlackBerry Bold 9900 from http://ticketmonster.co.kr can also enter into a lucky draw for a chance to win a travel voucher worth KRW 1,000,000 from Ticket Monster.
