Well, is it just the apple The world is a vast field bursting with sweet and salubrious gifts of nature. Some we enjoy while some are yet to be discovered. Why settle with only apples when what lies before us is a cornucopia of sweetened delights.

A ten-year-long traditional technology and know-how and an advanced production system based on the ISO 9001 gives Yesan Nongsan the advantage to produce the finest and most satisfying fruit-based products made from fresh fruits harvested directly from farms. Established in March of 1994, Yesan Nongsan Co. stands on a 3,000 pyong (one pyong: 3.954 sq. yds.) land in Yesan-gun, South Chungcheong, Korea.

In January of 1996, the Korean government designated Yesan Nongsan as a traditional food manufacturer. Its desire to promote the Korean food culture qualified them to receive a bronze medal at the 1998 Traditional Food Festival which celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Korean government. In 2002, the company was recognized as a promising SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise) which paved the way for more of their innovations. One of which is the sugarless xylitol jam that they registered as a patent in 2007. The most recent acknowledgment of the company’s outstanding performance is the HACCP certificate they acquired in 2009.

 

Yesan Nongsan operates on highly-modified and modernized machinery and systems such as the automatic peeling machine, concentration and canning facilities and the puree automation line. This top-of-the-line production system illustrates the company’s strong commitment to offering the most exceptional and healthful products. It produces a wide array of fruit jam products – xylitol citron jam, sugar-free xylitol apple jam, sugar-free strawberry jam, and peach jam. Its Apple Dice and Freejab is a canned apple product mainly used in bakeries. It is produced using high pressure and strict sanitation from carefully selected apples which are peeled, diced and cut while leaving the original fruit quality through vacuum substitution. Its frozen fruit products include kiwis, strawberries, apple purees and kiwi puree.

 

The company also produces beverages such as the “Morning in the Forest Citron Tea,” “Natural Apple Juice,” “Eye Good Blueberry Extract” and “Morning in the Forest Classic Citron Extract.” Its products are exported to RT-Mart and I-Mart in Taiwan, Izumi Co. in Japan and e-Mart in China.

Yeasan-nongsan has been awarded the KOTRA Seal of Excellence since 2010.
