Cowon System is taking the lead in the digital multimedia market for MP3 players and personal multimedia players (PMPs). The company which started with integrated multimedia software called, “Jet Audio,” has positioned itself as a leading global player in the MP3 player market, based on its original digital sound technology.
Since its establishment in 1995, Cowon System has been especially proud of its strong financial structure and loyal customers thanks to cutting-edge technology and stable management. In Korea, the company is famous for having many loyal customers and repeat buyers. This is not only because its products are outstanding, but also because Cowon provides excellent customer service after purchase, such as updating firmware.
Cowon caught the world's attention when it launched CW100, an all-in-one type MP3 player, a first in the world in 2000. The product received rave reviews thanks to its high quality both in Korea and abroad. Since then, Cowon has followed up on its initial success with new and updated designs.

In addition, Cowon has become the market leader by transforming PMPs into learning tools, playing online education videos and other educational content. Now the company is planning to create a new market of Android-based PMPs.
