Korea is currently one of the most competitive countries in the IT industry. According to the World Competitiveness Yearbook of IMD, Korea ranked 2nd in technological infrastructure and is a leading nation in broadband subscribers, Internet users, and investment in telecommunications. In addition, the Korean government is promoting the IT industry as the driving force that will foster Korea as a hub of Northeast Asia. As the first English IT monthly magazine in Korea, IT Times is celebrating its first Anniversary this year, already with an impressive circulation of over 100,000 copies each month and readership in over 103 countries. It is the source of up-to-date IT issues for many Korean government organizations. But most importantly, it plays a pivotal role of displaying the accomplishments of the Korean IT industry to the world and promoting interchange among multinational and Korean IT companies. I would like to thank the Korea IT Times for serving such a significant role for the promotion of the Korean IT industry to the world. I offer my warm congratulations to the Korea IT Times for its impressive accomplishments during the past year and for its bright prospects for the future.
