'NT Challenge, Science & Technology for Next Era'
Based on the theme, 'NT Challenge, Science & Technology for Next Era', the 3rd NANO Korea 2005 will be held in KINTEX, located in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province over three days on August 24-26.
NANO Korea 2005 will focus core capacity by holding an exhibition/technology conference which represents enterprises both from home and abroad. In addition, the exhibition/technology conference aims to stimulate basic interdisciplinary research based on nano technology by enlarging new technology fusion businesses in the NIT, NBT, & NBIT fields.
A spokesperson for the Nano Korea Organizing Committee said that the Committee would make the most of this exhibition/technology conference as a launch pad for improving performance on disseminating nanotechnology as well as facilitating industrialization.
Advanced NT research countries, such as the United States, Japan and EU nations are actively supporting the conference, as well as hosting exhibitions for the dissemination of NT research results and promoting industrialization.
According to Korea's nano development plan, it is going to invest 1.5 trillion won in its expansion over the next decade. The government also intends to utilize NANO Korea 2005 to generate publicity for the research performance of NANO R&D support institutions as well as technology exchanges.
