GRID and JP Series
‘Grid’ is a core component of X-ray Digital Radiography, removing scattered radiation that occurs when the X-ray passes a subject in order to generate clearer images and provide higher accuracy diagnosing patients’ illnesses. JPI has 20 years of experience and know-how in grid technology. GRID 1000 from JPI is at the technological forefront of ensuring superior efficiency in removing scattered radiation. Grid improves the transmission rate which reduces the Bucky factor, ultimately reducing patient exposure. On top of this, its superior quality images are achieved through the use of aluminum inter-spacers and lead strips, precisely milled to uniformity.
GRID 2000 features a graphite-interspaced grip which is optimal for digital mammography units. Using the sawing process from the field of semi-conductors, this can be controlled in minute increments, which eliminates the abnormal uniformity of density such as the Moire phenomenon.
JP 33 is an automatic X-ray film processor which automates the whole process of developing and drying the film of patients. With microprocessor controlled and user friendly features, its new retractable feed tray requires less space in small dark rooms and the water level sensor prevents overflowing of the tank. It also features a stand-by-mode for energy savings.
Proven Quality
JPI’s quality and technology were already proven as its X-ray and JP series were selected as the world’s best products by the Korean government, and the engineers were also nominated as ‘Engineer of the month’ by the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The company has sold its products to diverse global companies including Dell, GE healthcare, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and Canon.
“Along with two other companies from Japan and the Netherlands, these three corporations have dominated the global market with 80 to 90 percent market shares. In China, JPI accounts for around 70 percent of market shares. Last year, its sales surpassed 15 billion won (USD 14 million) and overseas exports accounted for 85 percent of this total. The company has set a goal of achieving 20 billion won (USD 18 million) in sales this year. For more information, you can visit http://www.jpi.co.kr/
