OTTAWA, ONTARIO - C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CMI) the leading global provider of mobile auto-deploying satellite antenna systems, today announced that it has now added Russian language support to its iNetVu® mobile antenna systems. This feature is being made available to address the growing demands of the Russian market.
The iNetVu® 7000 series controllers are integrated with a Windows based software tool that provides a selectable language option, allowing the user to configure and operate the iNetVu system in his/her native language. Given the increase in the number of C-COM manufactured antennas destined for the Russian market, a Cyrillic version user interface is now available to Russian customers.
The Russian language option is available free of charge to all C-COM customers and is user-selectable at the time of configuration or operation. An end user can switch from Russian to English (and vice-versa) dynamically, while the software is in operation.
The C-COM 7000 series controllers already support Chinese and Spanish and will support other languages based on demand.
"Almost 90 percent of the iNetVu® antenna systems are exported globally, and many of the ultimate users of the product do not necessarily speak English. We believe that this added language compatibility enhancement will make the product more user friendly and will enhance user experience and support." said Leslie Klein, President and CEO of C-COM.
