SEOUL, KOREA — [Preview of CommunicAsia 2012] Software developer JIRANSOFT (www.jiran.com/en / Stand No. BP3-13) showcases ‘DirectReader’ a new smart-office product designed to improve improved work efficiency at CommunicAsia 2012 in Singapore.
DirectReader is mobile collaboration solution which supports instant access to PC or all company data via all popular mobile devices in order to browse, view, share data from anywhere anytime. Normally, to view PC data from smart device, users need to go through a series of steps to access to their data but with DirectReader, users just need three steps (run application’ → choose folder → choose file) to access to their files.
In addition, the mobile conferencing (meeting room) feature allows users to share their presentation screen for business meeting without any print outs. Furthermore, DirectReader can be integrated with various legacy systems (such as web storage, NAS, and FTP) and can apply the existing company security policy to reinforce security.
DirectReader was introduced at the “RSA Conference” in the US in February 2012, drawing significant attention from the visitors. It also ranked first overall in free the iPad app download list of the App Store within one day following its release in Korea. Oh Chiyoung, CEO of JIRANSOFT, said, “DirectReader has already been implemented in many corporations, and is rising as a new solution for easy and fast cooperation.”
Meanwhile, held for the 23rd time this year, CommunicAsia is the biggest ICT exhibition in Asia where major IT and software firms around the world will showcase cable/wireless/mobile communication devices, parts, and various software products. CommunicAsia 2012 will be held from June 19 to June 22 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
