Selected as a preferential business provider
KDC (Korea Digital Communications Corp., www.kdcgroup.co.kr) has concluded an MOU agreement with KT's affiliated company KT Linkus on Nov. 24 regarding a plan to collaborate as a general business provider in the IT security field in the Ubiquitous-City Project which is under way as a new growth industry.
KT and KT Linkus select their collaboration counterparts, making up a budget of 20 billion won (approx. 19 million) in IT security projects alone during the course of a year. Through this collaboration agreement conclusion with KT Linkus, KDC said that the company has been selected as a preferential business provider of KT Linkus across the entire scope of security projects, including system construction as well as operation of security parts, equipment delivery, facility management and maintenance repair and business model's development etc.
A spokesperson for KDC predicted that annual forecast revenues generated by the company's participation in this UCity Project, will be over approx. 5 billion won (approx. $ 4.8 million).
With this MOU agreement as an impetus, KDC is planning to reinforce its established business capacity in the IT field and to consolidate substantiality, while on one hand, giving added impetus to the new project propulsion of 3D vertical screen module production.
