SEOUL, KOREA—On July 23, Dr. Nam-sun Paik said he returned home after having successfully completed his 4-day mission in Kazakhstan (July 18 ~21). During the trip, Paik visited Ustkamenogorsk Cancer Center to showcase his surgical techniques and give lectures.
Director of Ewha Women’s University Cancer Center for Women performed his breast cancer surgery and talked about “Statistics for Breast Cancer and Its Surgery in Korea”, which was coupled with two memorandum of understanding (MOU) with East Kazakhstan Oncologic Dispensary for transferring medical skills and staff training, and with Firma Aleks LLP, a construction firm that is planning to build a medical center for cancer care.
Dr. Paik also introduced the advanced facilities and medical personnel of Ewha Women’s University Cancer Center for Women by taking on multiple interviews with local media agencies : East State TV, RP TV, etc.
“I was able to strengthen the cooperative relationship between Ewha Cancer Center and various other medical institutions in Kazakhstan through various activities,” said he ”The latest visit is meaningful as Ewha could build brand recognition effectively, and it will sure lead to an increasing number of patients from Kazakhstan.”
This past February, Ewha Women’s University Cancer Center for Women and Wellness Center of Massimov entered a MOU for an exchange program for doctors and patients.
