It is no secret that visual technology has grown in leaps and bounds over the past decade or so. As an increasing number of directors, such as James Cameron in his groundbreaking feature film Avatar, are integrating cutting edge technology into the creation of movies, the entire movie watching process is an experience in itself. Previously, one had to head to a 3d movie theater or iMAX in order to witness these movies in their full potential. However, recently a paradigm shift is occurring that is allowing people to bring the theater experience into their living rooms. Since the company’s inception in 2000, Mocomtech Co., Ltd. has been at the forefront of visual technology, creating some of the most stunning and revolutionary projection screens available.

Projection Screen

Mocomtech offers a variety of state-of-the-art products that are geared for 2D, HD, and 3D. The Mocom Solstice Projection Screen utilizes concave optical technology in a package that is suitable for residential or commercial usage. By using unique patented technologies, this screen offers higher gain, resolution, contrast, and color accuracy than previous generation projection screens, raising the bar for this style of viewing. The reflection of light has been altered to 18/23 gain with better polarization which allows it to provide bright images on large size screens in high ambient lighting. For the movie-lover, Mocom’s 3D home theater systems allow for the display of 3D images up to 20 times more bright than those of conventional projectors, allowing people to enjoy bright 3D and HD images on a screen of 100 inches of larger. On top of these products, Mocom has a variety of front and rear screens that are certain to suit any needs.

Perfect 2D_3D Rear Screen

The technology behind Mocomtech’s screen has a longstanding reputation, being inherited from the Institute of Korea Science Education Aids, Korea’s first optical company that was established in 1953. As well as the basis of technology behind Mocomtech’s screens, this institute has also exported microscope lenses to the Japanese camera giants Nikon and Olympus. Mocomtech has received numerous accolades based on their innovative, quality driven approach including CES Innovation Awards three consecutive years, the Korean Presidential Prize two years, as well as achieving the Kotra Seal of Excellence.
