Once upon a time, there were two warriors from Greece.
Greek met Greek each other on the street. Then the tug of war came as if they were deadly enemies. (Actually the two men pointed to the kingdom of Athens and Sparta. The long and tiring power struggles made Athens surrender.)

Like the tug-of-war between Athens and Sparta the door will never be shut down unless one single hidden Champion appears. No matter how hopeless and how far it is, they, as if they were the men of La Mancha or the Greek warriors, will try to achieve their glorious dream with vigor and vitality.

Then the he-man, like the Man of La Mancha, would be designated as King of the Earth and enthroned as the absolute Sun King on the World stage. Already the War has spread out all over the world, such as Asia & the Pacific, Europe, the North & South America, and many other lands. There is no Garden of Eden at all. It is extremely difficult to find out the peaceful, dreamful, and imaginary land. Right, there is no Land of Rainbow (Solongus) in the earthly world. There is only competition and challenge. With auto pennants flying in the sky, the first-rate careerists of the world are now ready to take risks to be the best and first charioteer.

Everyone is content, confident, and saying:
“Yes, I can. This is the life. Life is such. While there is life, there is hope. Everyone navigates the divide between hope and realism. But only positive thinker can see invisible, take untenable, and achieve impossible. Surely, it bodes well for my success. I‟m ready for some finality-- at least two-fold.”

Once again, each of them made up his mind and said to himself that:
“Everything that is involved in international relationship amounts to a gamble, risk. Thus, one has to take risks, seeking much better opportunity from the ordeal not to fail but to succeed in life. At least for me, I can. I believe I‟ll be the very he-man with boldest action and big ideas. I‟ll chance it with my wild card. Rather, for me it‟s a safe bet. I‟ll never back down.”

With drums banging and cymbals, the race of competition has started. Now their shiny chariots are rolling down on the track of the Olympic main stadium. All of the pride--hearted world powers are triggering among them to be the only world Champion as if they were Mercury or Hermes of God.

After all, all of them will meet their fates there as the men of destiny. They are still convinced that:
“As you know of me, I am made of true metal with my chariot. My chariot is made of base, light and heavy metal. Nothing can prevent me from driving my chariot on the track of completion and challenge. Only tolerance, cautious mind and unhesitating courage will decide who will be the final victor with supreme power as well as the Gold Medal in the world Coliseum. It is the unbroken tradition in the history of arms. I know of it. Also I do know the thing that is wanted will be achieved.”

So, they will mount to the climax to be zero or hero with a gleam of hope to be the man of the La Mancha. Even if the road is the crash course they will stop at nothing in this fiercely brutal and bloodier competition and struggle than ever before. If they have no technological firearms and strategic and tactical priorities they will weary out and be vanquished in the end. Thus, cracking Armageddon is waiting for their class acts.

Like the prediction of Thomas Hobbes and Thomas L. Friedman, the final horseless chariot game will lead to the most sublime but saddest White World War (WWW). As the WWW enters to the lives, the Great War will be entangled and mired into the Battle Royal even in the God-awful weather. Mercy will be remote. Only death will draw near so close as if it were the Sarabande Duel of Barry Lyndon. Then the spectators in the main stadium will sniff at the advent of death from an inch away.

Presumably, with acclamations they will guess the coming result as below:
“Fortune favors the bold. Glory is the fair child of peril. All of them, G20 and other unknown dark horses, will be diving into the river of fate in search of the golden glory of G1. Then, they will be caught in a whirlwind or twister over the bridge of victory and make a gladiatorial show at the Circus Maximus. Then the show will be similar to the old feature film, Ben-Hur.”

However, unlike the old movie, there is neither silver nor bronze medal in this horseless chariot game in the World Olympic. There is only the Gold Medal as if it is the Rings of the Lord. Further, there is no arms control, no disarmament agreement in the auto world. Also, there is neither compulsory commitment to peace nor declaration of war in this motor world. Thus, this on-going horseless chariot game will be more brutal and bloodier game.

Later it will breed a most legendary and unforgettable macho drama, christened by „New Ben-Hur.‟ Then, the big-timers will star in the silver screen. Then and then they will make a feature film tuned with the music, Sarabande Duel, composed by Handel, Schubert, and Mozart.

From afar, the strafe is audible with the storming boats visible.
The day breaks.
