So his men could not stand for their boss. They did not punish the assassin. All of it was his last scene. But it was not histrionics on the stage at all. Clearly, the crooked assassin’s vindication was sophistry as a glaring lie. And it was a willful murder. Long before his assassination, the jealous plotters had made this sinister plot. Then they had instigated the assassin to kill him at a proper time. It was almost similar to the historical drama film of 2011, The Conspirator.

The picture has been extracted from the site http://illustrated007.blogspot.kr/2009/09/ian-fleming-in-intrigue-magazine.html.

Directed by Robert Redford and screenplay by James D. Solomon, the film said to the audience in the final that ‘One bullet killed the President Abraham Lincoln. But, not one man.’

Like the film, The Conspirator, the assassination of Chang, Bo-ko was not made by the henchman’s one dagger. Lots of plotters were involved but not founded like the case of Lincoln’s assassination. Nonetheless, the end justifies the means. Partisan acts prevailed over patriotism. With his unexpected assassination Cheonghae-Jin was not a proposition any more. Soon, it became jumbled up and chaotic. The great navy was dismissed, too.

Afterwards, the Blue City as an International Trade Center came to be shut down and disappeared. No one could see Cheonghae-Jin forever. As a result, lots of feisty pirates came back to swing their outrageous acts. Once again, the Yellow Sea came to deem with the pirates. Co-prosperity between Asian nations faded away in smoke. Korea has never seen such a great tycoon. And it was the conclusion of the book. And it was his panoramic and lamentable life.

About the uneventful ending, the little boy, Cheong Ju-young, felt empty. He lamented on his sudden death. Tears flowed down his cherubic face. With achoo he heaved a sigh and said achingly:

“Ah, me, it was really the tragic scene as his downfall. Indeed, the dashing Prince had earnestly imagined a great Asian dream. Ah, but, hopelessly it was swept away. His enemy’s personal jealousy and political interest destroyed him dastardly. With his assassination, Cheonghae-Jin, the Blue City by the Sea, sank down into the abyss of the ocean quickly. Alas, his great dream has perished and now returned empty. All of his life became a tale. It passed down forever."

However, the juvenile book gave the boy drawing lessons, which made him a man. After meditating on his dramatic life, he treasured up all the beautiful and sad stories in his mind and fixed up his mind that:

“His story is not a simple history. It is a vivid living drama of man of men; what his life was; how his iron-like will could change the life, and so on. Man to man, I can make my drama like him. Today is just beginning. Tomorrow never die. The way is always open. As shown in his stormy life, fate or destiny is not ready-made. Right it is not set in the previous world. Rather, itis created by iron-like will and indomitable courage. Then and then, it will be exciting, thrilling and valuable to savor, enjoy and see the depth of life. In fact, everything in life is meaningful but never meaningless even if it is not seen to physical eyes. To be sure, my flag of life will be hoisted and undulate in the blue sky. Then, my youthful and colorful dream will come true in the end like him.”

From the day on, he outgrew his contemporaries. It was the sign that he would be a man of mark like him in the farther future. In this way, he got and learned some precious lessons from the book. Indeed, such things were hungry spirit, challengeable mind, and the recognition of the Law of the Jungle. All of them made him erect firmly. Longing for a great Asian dream, he made it a principle in his life like Chang Bo-ko. Even if making a living from hand to mouth each day the boy began from the bottom of the ladder as his passionate follower. Then he went on the road in a world. Throughout his life he really wanted to be a man like him. It was to refuse to wind down until his thirst was quenched.

Truly the thirst was the compass for his great success. Indeed, it led him to adventure through the wilderness. With can-do-spirit he established himself as an exponent of industriousness. Then he claimed his land and founded his kingdom in the end. People say that:

“Yes, it is not a yackety-yak at all. As for him, poverty was a stranger to his industry. At first, it was seemingly improbable. However, what had been an ideality has become the reality over time. In retrospect, it was no other than a hard-earned result. He never did lead a fast life. He was all the business with early habits, which made him as such.”

Presently, the name of his kingdom is called Han Dynasty, shortly Hyundai. Its meaning is modernity. In relation to Modernity or Hyundai, there was some account. Presumably, he might have been hinted by Cheonghae-Jin Chang Bo-ko built in the past. Actually Cheonghae-Jin was a then-most modernized Emporium by the sea. Like him, he sought to build up a newly-civilized kingdom similar to a modernized Emporium. Then he christened his kingdom’s name as Hyundai with a meaning of Modernity in order to make a great success like him.
