Below were Dodge delivery trucks, 1920.

is one of the American Big Three. The striking pentangular star is his badge. He is well-known as a tough and aggressive gunfighter like the American general George S. Patton. Actually Patton soldiered for more than thirty years as a strong advocate of aggressive action. Possessed with a sense of daring disregard for danger, he was a man of caliber in the Second World War.

One of his famous words was “If you can’t find’em, grind’em.”

Like the saying, he believed that:

“Fortune favors the bold. Glory is the fair child of peril.”

Interestingly there is a bedtime story.

Walter P. Chrysler and George Patton were contemporary. And they resembled each other. Their likes and dislikes were clear. Also they were clone to each other; roaming, restless, fire-like, daredevil-like aggressive, quick-temper, and challengeable.

Either Chrysler or Patton printed his own name in the people’s memories in the world, private and public. In any military campaign Patton’s key word was gallantry and intrepidity, which was spoken as ‘No fear! No fear! And, no fear! Nothing great is easy.’ For such a reason, “trigger-happy or go devil chariots” named Dodge or Jeep intrigued Patton’s fire-like character and speedy military campaign. One day when he was a second lieutenant, Patton was ordered to make a reconnaissance upon anti-American revolutionaries. By using Dodge he crossed the borderline of Mexico and took a Pancho Villa Expedition. There he killed their chief with his combat team.

From then on, Dodge has been used in the name of Challenger, Caliber, Caravan, and ‘Avenger with the mark of Dodge. Every name looks tough, aggressive, and awesome with tough military-spec truck models and ambulances for civilians. It is still powerful and useful for ‘Charge or ‘Journey’ Below were Dodge delivery trucks, 1920. (Source: Wikipedia)

Patton in Jeep in WWII.

Like Dodge, Jeep is still powerful and outmatching, acting its duty in the name of ‘Grand Cherokee,’ ‘Liberty,’ and ‘Patriot.’ Jeep is originated military slang, jungle pet. It has off-road capabilities with its durability. Suitable for specific military operation Jeep was used for bantam-cars for sudden combats in places. Thus, in the Second World War Patton used it for specific duties and executed impossible missions. Since then on, professional soldiers are fond of using it on tough terrain.

Like the examples, Patton was usually fond of using Dodge or Jeep in battles. Fortuitously those were created by Walter P. Chrysler. For such a reason they came to meet and made a brotherhood each other. Then Chrysler and Patton styled themselves as brothers. Sometimes Chrysler mimicked the general Patton, proclaiming himself as another Patton by playing acts like him. When he was away Patton, too, took his chariot, Jeep or Dodge, with no charge in his name. So, the people do not recognize who is Patton and who is real Chrysler. They are almost the same as a palsy-walsy.

In this relation, Chrysler and the Korean tycoon of Hyundai resemble each other. They are alike in tough character with imperious generalship. Supposedly, such a common ground might have made the two figures close to each other in co-operation and co-prosperity.

Now, his men are fighting for mutual interest in Mexico under the brand of Chrysler; Verna Dodge for Hyundai Accent, Atos by Dodge for Hyundai Atos, Dodge H100 for Hyundai H100 as if they are buddy-buddy as collaborators.

In this way, the Korean tycoon improvised cohesive bonds with the foreigners. Still he has partnered with them. From the military point of view, this kind of partnership seems to be close co-operative alliances. Actually, Miss Busy, Chrysler, and Hyundai are surrounded by neighboring enemies at the home ground. So such partnership and/or military alliance might be their each armor, rope, life raft to protect their lives from battle-ready leviathans.
