SEOUL, KOREA – In the current age of technology, it is important that businesses keep up with the times.
As we are rapidly progressing towards a ‘smarter’ society, various members of industry are finding ways to incorporate cutting-edge technology into their organizations, in order to remain efficient, reduce overhead costs, and stay ahead of their competitors. This can be seen in many divergent industries, and in particular this is evident in companies that utilize chemical delivery systems (or CDS). In the past, Korean companies were forced to import equipment for CDS, cleaning, and etching technologies from organizations abroad. Recognizing a particular need, STI arrived to the rescue.
Established as a company in 1997, STI was designed as a dynamic company to specialize in equipment for front-end processes of semiconductors and FPDs in Korea. Since that time, STI has successfully domestically produced CDS, cleaning, and etching equipment to replace the need for overseas imports. Since that time, STI has designed a number of highly successful quality items. Of particular note are the Chemical Delivery Systems that provide a bulk chemical supply for semiconductor and FPD, as well as a supply of acid, alkali, and solvent. STI manufactures Wet Stations, such as in the TFT LCD, PDP, and OLED fields, as well as a photo mask cleanser. Also popular are STI’s Bar LCD and Ink-Jet systems, showcasing their versatility in terms of meeting various industrial needs.
STI has their eyes on the future. In 2005, the company expanded to Taiwan and China in order to expand their hold on the global market. CEO J.Y. Kim says that STI will, “Realize interests of our customers and stockholders through continuous R&D activities, management to create technological values, and achievement of customer satisfaction.” Truly, this is a company that has their sights set on the bigger picture.
