SEOUL, KOREA – ‘G-Valley Export Plaza 2012’ took place at the Best Western Hotel at Seoul on November 23rd, hosted by G-Valley Export Club. This meeting was aimed at expanding exports and global exchange between the members and overseas buyers. Attendees included ten overseas buyers and 20 domestic companies. Besides a buyer meeting, an exhibition was also held for technical demonstration. Seoul Digital Industrial Complex Management Association, with support from the Small & Medium Business Administration initiated G-Valley Export Club this April in an effort to secure global competitiveness among the members through constant exchange and cooperation.
Young-jae Lee, the chairman of Seoul Digital Industrial Complex Management Association said in the meeting that the association has made put efforts to cooperate with diverse countries including China, Canada, Japan, Paraguay, Norway, Mongol, and the U.S.A, to build the private-led global networking. He hoped that this meeting would be a venue where more global exchanges are generated.
Seong-jae Lee, a representative of G-Valley Export Club and a chairman of RF Window, said that he believes G-Valley will be a mecca of export industries in the future. “G-Valley has over 12,000 companies and many of them have technical and cost competitiveness, but its export accounts for less than 10% of the total production. With constant cooperation and networking, we can make inroads into the global market.”
Kyong-rae Kim, CEO of CTG, the exporter of golf simulators said that this meeting was a good opportunity for them to meet diverse overseas buyers. He also believes that G-Valley Export Plaza 2012 will be an important venue for G-Valley members and global buyers to meet and exchange information.
