SEOUL, KOREA – Dragon Flight proved itself as a killer title that is drawing a sharp attention worldwide. A mobile market survey firm App Annie released the October sales results on Google Play. Dragon Flight, by NextFloor, launched into the global top-ten ranking, proving itself as a blue-chip mobile game in the world.
App Annie said that Korea’s NextFloor and WeMade, which achieved daily sales of about 2 billion won, are attracting global users and creating profits at a rapid speed. Among top-ten game makers in the Google Play are DeNA (Japan), COLOPL (Japan), GungHo Online (Japan), WeMade (Korea), Zynga (U.S.), Gamevil (Korea,) Gri (Japan), Naver (Japan), Gameloft (France) and NextFloor (Korea).
App Annie predicted that Korea’s Google Play is expected to become the fastest-growing market and Google Play is likely to grow by more than 600 percent in Korea from January 2012. App Annie also noted that the earnings of Apple App Store are about four times higher than those of Google Play in 2012. However, the gap between them is narrowing. Google Play Store is creating an increasing opportunity for global app developers worldwide.”
