SEOUL, KOREA – LG Electronics announced on December 27 that it will have its Cinema 3D Smart TV embedded with a variety of popular games that can be enjoyed by every member of families.
Disney’s puzzle game “Swampy, Where’s My Water” will be offered through Cinema 3D Smart TV’s app market Smart World from the first quarter of 2013. The game enjoyed huge popularity among smartphone users and ranked No. 1 in terms of download numbers in 90 countries’ app markets.
Life simulation game The Sims FreePlay, produced by Electronic Arts, will also be available on LG Electronics’ Cinema 3D Smart TVs from the first quarter. This game is a follow-up game of the popular computer game Sims series which was sold more than 150 million copies around the world. This is the first time for the game to be offered through Smart TVs.
LG Cinema 3D Smart TVs will also provide a car racing game Mini Motor Racing, developed by the Binary Mills, within the first half of next year. A dual-play function is available, enabling two players to enjoy the game simultaneously.

LG전자, 시네마3D 스마트TV에 인기게임 대거 탑재
LG전자는 시네마3D 스마트TV에 온 가족이 즐길 수 있는 인기게임을 대거 탑재한다고 27일 밝혔다.
디즈니社의 퍼즐게임인 '스왐피-웨어스마이워터'(스왐피)를 1분기부터 시네마3D 스마트TV 앱장터인 스마트월드에서 제공한다. 이 게임은 이미 스마트폰에서 큰 인기를 끌며 전세계 90여 개국 앱장터 다운로드 1위를 달성했다.
EA에서 제작한 생활 시뮬레이션 인기게임 '심즈 프리플레이'도 1분기에 선보인다. 이 게임은 전 세계적으로 1억5000 만장 이상 판매된 PC게임 '심즈 시리즈'의 후속작이다. 스마트TV 전용으로 제공되는 것은 이번이 처음이라고 회사 측은 설명했다.
LG 시네마3D 스마트TV만의 듀얼플레이 기능으로 두 명이 함께 즐길 수 있는 바이너리 밀스의 자동차 레이싱 게임 '미니모터레이싱'는 상반기 중 제공한다. 듀얼플레이 전용 안경을 쓰면 두 사용자가 한 화면에서 각기 다른 영상을 볼 수 있어 게임에 더욱 몰입할 수 있다.
