SEOUL, KOREA - Jeju Air, a low-cost airliner jointed established by Jeju Special Self-governing Province and Aekyung Group, will open a new twice-a-week route to Fuzhou from its base Jeju.
Fuzhou is the capital city of Fujian Province in the southeast coast of mainland China. As there is no open skies agreement, just like any other Chinese cities, Fuzhou has had no regular direct flights with Korean cities.
With the opening of the new flight route, Jeju Air will have a total of four Chinese routes including Incheon-Taiyuan (Shanxi Province), Jeju-Ningbo (Zhejiang), and Incheon-Jiamusi (Heilongjiang).
