Citroen DS5, a vehicle model selected by Francois Hollande for his inauguration as President of the French Republic, made its debut in Korea. Halbul Motors released a crossover sedan Citroen DS5 on January 29. The Citroen DS5 is a flagship model in DS series and the third released in Korea after DS3 and DS4.
A Halbul Motors official said, “French President Francois Hollande is known to have often used DS5 at official ceremonies. He visited last year’s Paris Motor Show in the Citroen’s flagship car.”
Citroen DS5 features a four-cylinder 2.0 liter HDI linear diesel engine that has a maximum output of 163 hp and a maximum torque of 34.6 kg.m, and a six-stage automatic transmission.
By trim, the retail price is 43.5 million won for Chic, 47.5 million won for So Chic and 51.9 million won for Executive. DS5 design features a combination of a European wagon and a sedan style.

프랑스 대통령 차 한국 왔다···시트로엥 플래그십 'DS5' 출시
프랑수아 올랑드 프랑스 대통령의 의전차로 쓰여진 '시트로엥 DS5'가 한국 판매에 나섰다.
한불모터스는 29일 크로스오버 세단을 표방하는 시트로엥 DS5를 출시했다. DS5는 DS시리즈의 최상위(플래그십) 모델로 국내 시판 중인 DS3와 DS4에 이은 세 번째 모델이다.
한불모터스 관계자는 "올랑드 프랑스 대통령이 공식 행사에서 DS5를 자주 이용하는 것으로 알려져 있다"며 "작년 파리모터쇼에서도 DS5를 타고 행사장을 찾았다"고 밝혔다.
이 차는 최고 출력 163마력, 최대 토크 34.6㎏·m인 2.0ℓ HDi 직렬 4기통 디젤 엔진에 6단 자동변속기를 얹었다. 복합 연비는 14.5㎞/ℓ(도심 13.2㎞/ℓ, 고속 16.5㎞/ℓ). 판매 가격은 트림별로 각각 4350만원(Chic) 4750만원(So Chic) 5190만원(Executive)이다.
DS5 디자인은 유럽형 왜건과 세단 스타일이 결합됐다. 뒷좌석 시트를 접으면 468리터 트렁크 공간은 최대 1600리터까지 늘어난다. 실내 편의사양으로 헤드업디스플레이, 프리미엄 하바나 가죽시트, 데논 카오디오(10개 스피커), 제니스 글래스 루프(3피스 타입) 등을 제공한다.
