SEOUL, KOREA - Smartphone action game "Undead Slayer" is getting rave reviews from users. Developed by one-man game company Highidea and published by NHN Hangame, the game is serviced in three languages including Chinese, English, and Korean.
Available on Google Play and App Store, Undead Slayer has received high praises such as "Hard to believe that this game is developed by one person" or "Very simple to control but feels so real when making an attack."
Lee Jong-ha, senior manager in charge of smartphone game publishing with NHN, said, "At the G-Star trade show, we unveiled the game through a video clip only. Still, it attracted so much attention and was even called a game of the year. We are glad that it is getting excellent reviews immediately after launch."
The game was developed by Kim Dong-kyu alone of Highidea from planning to graphic and sound. The storyline is based on Chinese classic "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and features a character of Xiahou Dun, a general under Cao Wei, who is reborn in the new game as a Zombie hunter.
Only within 10 days after launch, Undead Slayer has clocked in a cumulative download number of 450,000 with a 100-million-won sales revenue for the first week.
