SEOUL, KOREA – AV Max, India's no. 1 audio and video magazine, selected the UHD TV from LG Electronics as the best TV among flat TVs larger than 60 inches in its January edition. Various features of UHD TV including its super high-definition three-dimensional display were introduced and AV Max went further to comment that LG Electronics provided unmatched user experience.
The British AV Forum also gave LG’s UHD TV an ‘excellent grade’ and praised UHD TV as the leader in high-definition TV.
LG Electronics released the 84 inch UHD TV in the Korean market in late August last year and afterwards, the product was released in 40 countries worldwide. LG Electronics’ UHD TV has received widespread acclaim from the media in North America, Europe, and Asia and many IT media outlets scrambled to conduct product testing.
Last November, Reviewed.com which is a division of USA TODAY evaluated LG UHD TV as “impressive in every detail including the high-definition, design, audio, smart TV, and platform.”

영국의 `AV포럼`도 지난해 12월 LG 울트라 HD TV에 대해 화질 혁신을 이끌고 있으며, 미래를 엿볼 수 있는 TV라고 평가하고 `엑설런트` 등급을 부여했다.
LG전자 84인치 울트라HD TV는 지난해 8월 말 한국시장 출시 이후 40여 개국에 잇달아 출시되며 세계 언론의 주목을 받고 있다. 특히, 유력 IT매체들은 앞다퉈 제품 테스트를 진행했고 북미, 유럽, 아시아 등지에서 호평이 이어지고 있다.
지난해 11월에는 미국의 USA투데이가 운영하는 IT가전제품 전문 평가 사이트인 `리뷰드닷컴`이 LG UHD TV는 화질은 물론 디자인, 오디오, 스마트TV 플랫폼까지 어느 것 하나 인상 깊지 않은 것이 없다고 평가했다. 영국 `T3`지도 지난해 12월 말레이시아판에서 이 제품을 TV부문 `2012년 올해의 제품`으로 선정한 바 있다.
