SEOUL, KOREA – LG Electronics has set an ambitious goal of over 30% growth in the domestic market, releasing the Whisen air conditioner line-up, which received “Energy Frontier Certification” (the highest energy efficiency accolade) from Korea Energy Management Corporation (KEMCO) for its power-saving super inverter technology.
On Wednesday, LG Electronics launched the latest voice-activated, NFC-Enabled air conditioner, “Son Yeon Jae Special G,” the second model of LG’s G project aimed to catapult LG into the World’s No.1 spot in the global home appliances market by 2015. The latest air conditioner flaunts the highest energy efficiency in the industry, as evidenced by its winning of the “Energy Frontier”certification, higher than KEMCO’s energy efficiency rating Level 1. A total of twenty nine LG products have obtained “Energy Frontier” certification.
“Son Yeon Jae Special G” sports cutting-edge functions like the 2X super cooling system and “real 4D cooling” (which can provide cool air from 4 sides – top, bottom, left and right) and the “super cool power cooling” (a fast cooling technology that can cool the temperature of a space speedily with winds 4℃ colder than that of existing air conditioners.

LG전자가 초절전 슈퍼인버터 기술로 `에너지 프론티어` 인증을 받은 에어컨 라인업으로 올해 국내시장에서 30% 이상의 성장을 자신했다.
LG전자가 6일 남산 반얀트리에서 2015년 글로벌 가전시장 1등 달성을 위한 `G프로젝트` 두번째 제품으로 최신 에어컨 `손연재 스페셜 G`를 출시했다. 신제품은 에너지관리공단의 에너지소비 효율을 1등급 인증 기준보다 150% 이상 효율을 높힌 `에너지프론티어` 인증을 강조한다. 전체 29개 제품이 인증을 받아 경쟁사를 압도한다는 설명이다. 월간 전기료를 기존 정속형 에어컨의 50% 수준인 1만2000원(단독사용 기준•누진세 미적용)으로 낮출 수 있다.
터보 냉각팬을 상단에 2개 장착한 2X쿨링시스템을 강화하고, 바람을 상하좌우 네 방향으로 내보내는 `리얼4D 입체냉방`과 바람 온도를 4도 낮춘 `슈퍼쿨파워 냉방` 등 첨단기능을 갖춰 한층 강력해진 냉방성능을 구현했다.
세계최초 `보이스온 (Voice On)` 기능을 탑재해 리모컨 없이도 음성으로 전원, 온도조절, 바람세기, 공기청정 같은 주요 기능을 동작시킬 수 있고 동작 상태를 음성으로 알려준다. 고농도의 플라즈마 이온으로 공기 중 세균이나 바이러스를 제거하는 `슈퍼 이오나이저` 기술로 공기청정 기능도 크게 향상시켰다. 강물에 비친 밤하늘 달 풍경을 모티브로 해 감성적이고 공간 활용도를 높인 슬림한 디자인도 눈길을 끈다.
