SEOUL, KOREA - After releasing OLED and HD TVs ahead of its rival Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics also took title as the first company to release curved OLED TVs.
LG Electronics announced that it will display and start receiving pre-orders for its brand-new 55-inch curved OLED TVs at major department stores and LG Best Shops throughout the country from April 29.
LG Electronics' 55-inch curved OLED TV was showcased first at CES 2013, held in Las Vegas in January 2013. The 55-inch curved OLED TV will be released in Korea at the retail price of 15 million won. LG's curved OLED TVs successfully minimized image distortions on its curved screen.
